Four Members of the Scientific Faculty of Royan Institute, in the List of Scientific Leaders in 2023
According to the public relations report of Royan Institute, In the 8th honoring ceremony for the scientific leaders of the country in 2023, 110 scientists of the country were introduced as the leaders of the science and technology of Islamic Iran. This ceremony was held in the presence of the vice president for science and technology and knowledge-based economy and the minister of science.Prof. Hossein Baharvand, Prof. Mohammad Hossein Nasr-Esfahani, Dr. Ensiyeh Hajizadeh Saffar and Dr. Hamed Daemi, four members of the scientific faculty of Royan Institute, were selected as the leaders of science in this ceremony and received their certificate of appreciation from the vice president and minister of science.
According to this report, the highest number of references to scientific articles in prestigious international publications, the quality of articles and research in the last three years, and effectual scientific activity are among the conditions for receiving points for selecting the country's scientific leaders. Also, Dr. Mohammad Ali Zolfigol, Minister of Science, Research and Technology considered increasing investment in science and research necessary to achieve power.
