Royan Institute Hosted the Directors of the National Institute of Research and Innovation (BRIN) of Indonesia
According to the public relations and international affairs report of Royan Institute, a group of managers and senior deputies of the National Institute of Research and Technology of BRIN Indonesia visited the Royan Institute on August 11, 2023.
During the meeting, Dr. Ahmad Vosough, the Deputy of Treatment and Specialized Services at the Royan Institute, greeted the guests and shared the latest accomplishments of researchers and experts. He explained that the Royan Institute is involved in various fields of Treatment, Education, and Research, such as Infertility Treatment, Diabetes, Cell Therapy, and Stem Cell Technology. He also expressed the institute's readiness to exchange scientific information with Indonesia.
Additionally, Dr. Masoud Vosough, the director of the Department of Reconstructive Medicine, and Dr. Rouhollah Fathi, the Deputy of Education of Royan Institute, provided detailed information about the departments, functions, and achievements of the research institute. They talked about the various training courses, congresses, and symposia held by the institute and its impressive history in training national and international experts and researchers.
During the event, Dr. Raden Arthur Ario Lelono, the Director of Talent Management at BRIN Agency, commended the exceptional performance of the research institute in the fields of Treatment and Research. He acknowledged the institute's impressive accomplishments, which cannot be overlooked. Following this, Dr. Edy Giri Rachman Putra, the Deputy of Human Resources of Science and Technology at BRIN, expressed interest in the research conducted on stem cells and therapy. He requested that this information be shared with their researchers and doctors. Additionally, he provided information on the educational conditions for researchers and doctors in Iran. He extended a respectful invitation to Iranian doctors and researchers to conduct long-term and short-term training courses in Indonesia according to their capacity and needs. He even discussed the welfare facilities available to participants of these training courses.
After the meeting, Dr. Fathi invited the managers and senior government assistants of Indonesia to attend the 24th Reproductive Biomedicine Congress of Royan Institute. This would allow them to become acquainted with the research institute. Afterward, they visited the research institute and the stem cell laboratories.
