The 14th Royan International Summer School in Ardabil

The 14th Royan International Summer School on "Application of Regenerative Medicine" will be held in cooperation with Ardabil Universities from August 14 to 16, 2023, at the Shahid Khodsiani Hall of Mohaghegh Ardabil University. Dr. Ruhollah Fathi, Deputy of Education at the Royan Institute, stated that undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students are the target group for this hybrid summer school, where prominent national and international scientists will give lectures over the three days. This summer school offers CME points for specialists and general practitioners.
He announced that this International Summer School is deliberately designed to cover a broad range of topics, including:
- Principles of Regenerative Medicine
- Regenerative Medicine in Neurological Diseases
- Regenerative Medicine and Immunotherapy in Cancer
- Regenerative Medicine in Liver and Digestive Diseases
- Regenerative Medicine in Genetic Engineering Approaches
- Regenerative Medicine in Skin Diseases
- Regenerative Medicine in Tissue Engineering
- Accelerating Technology Commercialization
- Production Processes in the Regenerative Medicine Market
Dr. Ochi Ardabili mentioned that this international event presents a valuable opportunity for scientific and research panels, adding that necessary arrangements have been made to host this scientific-research event effectively, in collaboration with the Academic Center for Education, Culture, and Research of Ardabil, along with provincial universities and other scientific centers. He expressed hope for optimal utilization of this opportunity.
He noted that the programs of the Deputy of Education focus on student training alongside specialized training, stating that the international summer school can serve as an excellent opportunity for this demographic. Dr. Fathi emphasized the importance of promotional-cultural education in the provinces, with the support of scientific and specialized student associations, asserting that it is essential to leverage the capacities of student associations to foster scientific growth and cultural advancement.
In this meeting, Dr. Ghobadi, Deputy of Education, and Dr. Rahbar, Deputy of Culture and Student Affairs at Ardabil University of Medical Sciences, also expressed their readiness to cooperate and support this program. The event will be organized by Dr. Masoud Vosough as the scientific secretary and Mrs. Mahdia Hashemi as the executive secretary.
