Mohammad Hossein Nasr Esfahani, Winner of Knowledge Excellence Medal
" Knowledge Excellence Medal" is a special and joint prize between Tehran University and Tehran Medical Sciences which is awarded annually in 6 scientific groups and branches to Iranian and non-Iranian scientists and professors with scientific authority who have effective cooperation with Iranian researchers and Iranian scientific centers and institutions.In the ceremony of awarding the first" Knowledge Excellence Medal", Mohammad Hossein Nasr Esfahani was introduced as a prominent scientific luminary of the country.

DR. Abdol Hossein Khosrow Panah, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution, Dr. Seyed Mohammad Moghimi, President of Tehran University, Dr. Hossein Zwanati, President of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Dr. Alireza Monadi Sefidan, President of the Education and Research and Technology Commission of the Islamic Council, and Dr Reza Pourhosein, Secretary of the" Professional Knowledge Prize", were present in this ceremony.
Dr. Mohammad Hossein Nasr Esfahani was born in 1966 in Isfahan. He received his PhD in clinical embryology from Cambridge University and he is also the founder and director of the Isfahan Biotechnology of Royan Institute. He carried out important scientific activities in animal cloning, producing and reproducing animals with good genetic potential and stem cells in his scientific record. He is responsible for the sheep cloning project for the first time in the Middle East.
