The Vice President and Minister of Health and Child Care of Zimbabwe visited Royan Institute.
According to the public relations and international affairs report of Royan Institute, Dr. Constantino Chiwanga, the Vice President and Minister of Health and Child Care of Zimbabwe, visited Royan Institute with a trade delegation on Monday, February 27th.
At the beginning of this visit, Dr. Abdolhossein Shahverdi, the head of Royan Institute, while welcoming the guests, referred to the latest achievements of Royan Institute in various fields and modern medical sciences, including cell therapy and biotechnology, said: In the education department, Royan Institute is prepared to host Zimbabwean doctoral students in the fields of tissue engineering and reproductive medicine; and referring to the deep cooperation between the two countries, he continued: In the field of research and specialized services, especially in the field of stem cells and infertility treatment, we are also interested in expanding our partnership with the scientific groups of Zimbabwe.

Dr. Constantino Chiwanga said: There are infertility treatment clinics in Zimbabwe, but what we have is still in the preliminary stages and we plan to develop this science in the country with the help of Royan Institute. The Research and Development Institute of Zimbabwe will benefit from your facilities for the development of medical sciences, and due to the transparency of the matter, we declare our interest in the development of bilateral relations.
At the end of this meeting, Dr. Constantino Chiwanga and the high-ranking delegation visited the laboratories of the Stem Cells and Biotechnology Research Institute as well as the Royan Cord Blood Bank and visited the latest achievements of these two research centers, and They were informed about the scientific-research developments of Royan Institute.
