Thirteenth Royan International Summer School

Thirteenth Royan International Summer School
The thirteenth Royan International Summer School on Bioinformatics in Biomedical Research is scheduled to take place from July 30 to August 3, 2022, at the Royan Institute. This hybrid summer school targets undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students, featuring lectures from prominent national and international scientists over the course of five days. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to encompass a wide range of topics, including:

- Introduction to bioinformatics for omics data
- Data mining (data integration and text mining for biomedical research)
- Genomics (gene variant discovery)
- Transcriptomics (microarray and RNA-Seq analysis)
- Computational biology in translational research
- Network analysis

The program will be organized by Dr. S. Tale-Ahmad as the Scientific Manager and Dr. M. Yeganeh as the Executive Secretary, along with their colleagues at the Royan Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Technology. In addition to this event, a valuable opportunity is provided for high school students to receive education and become familiar with bioinformatics, helping them gain insights into their future research interests. The program titled "Bioinformatics: From Prediction to Treatment" will be held virtually for four days, from July 31 to August 3, as the third annual summer school for high school students.
