Fourth International Congress of West Asia and North Africa (WANA)
The Fourth International Congress of West Asia and North Africa (WANA) will be held on the beautiful island of Kish, on May 3 - 4, 2025. This prestigious event is organized by the Royan Institute, in collaboration with the Kish Free Zone Organization, domestic and international universities and scientific centers, as well as companies active in the knowledge-based economy. This scientific congress, which fosters collaborative research, will focus on "Stem Cells in Regenerative Biomedicine" as a branch of the International Royan Congress. It aims to address the latest global scientific achievements in regenerative Biomedicine, with a particular emphasis on the WANA region (West Asia and North Africa). Dr. Masoud Vosough, the Research Director of the Regenerative Biomedicine and Cell Therapy Group at the Royan Institute, will serve as the Scientific Secretary of the Congress.The scientific themes of the congress are as follows:
* Organoids and Disease Modeling;
* Novel Approaches in Cancer Medicine;
* Bioengineering in Regenerative Biomedicine;
* Cell Therapy and Gene Therapy in Regenerative Biomedicine;
* Artificial Intelligence and Computational Biology in Regenerative Biomedicine.
The Royan Institute believes that this congress can serve as a platform for synergy and networking among scientists and professionals in the fields of Stem Cell Technology and Regenerative Biomedicine, as well as enthusiasts of the knowledge-based economy.
Since the primary objective of this scientific event is to develop a scientific communication network among students, researchers, and scientists from the WANA region, a significant number of international participants are expected to attend the Fourth WANA Congress. The scientific executive committee is planning to invite prominent professors and researchers in Stem Cells and Regenerative Biomedicine from Iran and other WANA countries. It is worth noting that the congress will be held in-person for domestic participants and both in-person and online (virtual) for international attendees.
In addition to the main congress, specialized training workshops and an exhibition showcasing the achievements of knowledge-based and commercial companies will be held on the sidelines of the event.
