Royan Institute Faculty Member Recognized as a Laureate at the 8th National Young Scientists Festival
Dr. Marzieh Ebrahimi, a faculty member at Royan Institute, and her colleagues were recognized for their achievements at the 8th National Young Scientists Festival.
According to the Public Relations Department of Royan Institute, during the closing ceremony of the 8th National Young Scientists Festival, the innovative and creative idea presented by Dr. Marzieh Ebrahimi, a faculty member and head of the Cancer Research Group at Royan Institute, along with her colleagues, entitled “Establishing and Developing a Natural Killer Cell Bank for Cancer Immunotherapy,” was commended in the "Bioscience Innovators" category.
Each year, the winners of this festival not only receive funding support from the Jamili Foundation for Science and Technology but are also provided with mentorship and resources to commercialize their ideas and integrate them into the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The Young Scientists Festival is an annual national event supported by the Jamili Foundation for Science and Technology, in collaboration with the College of Science at the University of Tehran, Supporter Foundation of University of Tehran, the Vice-Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, and the National Research Week Headquarters. It aims to support young innovators, promote technology-based businesses, foster an entrepreneurial culture, and transform intellectual assets into wealth.
