Royan Genetics Center
On the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (ACECR), Royan Genetics Center was inaugurated on Thursday with the presence of Dr. Hassan Moslemi Naeini the President of ACECR, and a group of prominent experts. The center focuses on two main areas: diagnostic and research activities related to genetics, biotechnology, and novel therapeutic methods. It aims to diagnose and identify genetic diseases and anomalies, while also advancing gene therapy techniques and related research. Dr. Seyed Abolhassan Shahzadeh Fadeli, the technical manager of the center, announced that with its advanced equipment, the center offers genetic diagnostic services at a lower cost compared to the private sector and hopes to achieve significant progress in gene therapy.The event also included the virtual inauguration of the ART (Assisted Reproductive Technology) Child Health Monitoring Center. Dr. Hassan Moslemi Naeini, expressed hope that the culture of research and innovation at Royan Institutes will extend to all units and emphasized that the combination of young and experienced professionals at these centers should serve as a model for the entire country. The Royan Comprehensive Genetics Center will provide genetic counseling, facilitate the selection of appropriate treatment methods, and engage in improving therapeutic techniques and producing recombinant drugs.
